Suffolk businessman goes for Glasswells makeover
Lucky Suffolk businessman, Phil Bruce, has received an unexpected boost to his home decorating plans with £500 to spend at home furnishings retailer, Glasswells.
The prize won by Mr Bruce, a business finance expert with BWG Commercial Finance Specialists, also includes an interior design advice visit worth £125 from Glasswells home design consultant, Gill Hodgson.
Mr Bruce and his wife, Sue, are in the middle of a kitchen/dining room refurbishment at their home in Alderton, near Woodbridge. They plan to use their unexpected windfall to treat themselves to a new dining suite from Glasswells extensive range.
Mr Bruce, who won the prize at the recent Suffolk Business Exhibition, said, "We're working on updating the kitchen and dining room, so this couldn't have come at a better time. Gill is coming to the house to talk to us about how we can make the layout and look really work for us. It's very exciting."
Glasswells opened its 73,000 sq. ft. showroom on Ranelagh Road in Ipswich in December, adding to existing showrooms in Bury St Edmunds, Martlesham Heath, Haverhill and Saffron Walden.
On display at the Orwell Park showroom are wide choices of bedroom, lounge and dining furniture, hand-picked to suit all tastes and design preferences, as well as beautiful linens, carpets, curtaining, kitchenware, gifts, lighting and much more.
