Customers Flock to Glasswells Clearance Event

The price cuts are complete and the Bury St Edmunds store is now open to mark the start of Glasswells' clearance event and the £2 million stock refurbishment.

Friday 15th May saw the doors open after the store had been closed for a week to mark down the prices of all items. Around 200 customers queued in anticipation to see what bargains they could find throughout the entire store, everything from sofas and dining to gifts and cookware including some big brand names.

The clearance event will continue whilst stocks last and then the refurbishment work will commence to update the product ranges and refresh the displays to reflect the latest colours and styles.

Paul Glasswell comments, "We are delighted that this event has proved this popular so far. It is true there is plenty to see and thousands of cut-price offers to be taken advantage of. The event will continue until our stocks are depleted so we are urging customers to catch the bargains while they can."
